Earlier this week, following information from the local authorities and ENV, the Danang Forest Protection and Environmental Police Departments inspected a coffee shop belonging to Vinh Trinh Trading and Service company.
FPD and EP officers found 12 wild animals and trophies which are illegal to possess, including a stuffed Indochinese tiger, 3 live pig-tailed macaques, and a live rhesus macaque, amongst others.
Whilst the FPD and EP confiscated some of the animals and the stuffed tiger, other live animals remain at the shop awaiting the decision by the authorities. ENV will continue to follow this serious case to ensure it complies with the law.
