Besides increasing productivity and making profit, enterprises in Vietnam also have social responsibility as a priority for their sustainable development. More than 100 companies have now joined ENV to protect Vietnam’s wildlife through various activities, for instance, organizing public events, thus raising awareness amongst thousands of people, and displaying information boards which encourage their staff

Since the “I support” campaign started in early June, sixteen Vietnam’s celebrities have joined ENV in spreading out the message “Say NO to bear bile & bear products” by posting the campaign poster on their Facebook and encourage their fans not to consume bear bile & bear products.  

  On the Vietnamese front line – is the title given to an article in the European Zoo and Aquarium Association magazine this month that reports on ENV’s efforts in Vietnam to enhance wildlife protection.    

Within only one week, many ENV information boards with the message “Say No to wildlife products” have been installed in 11 Intimex supermarkets. This means that our message has touched millions of people in big cities around Vietnam where there are Intimex supermarkets.  

Since we first started the “I support campaign” last month, many Vietnamese celebrities have joined ENV to spread the message “Say NO to bear bile and bear products consumption to end bear farming”.    

ENV is delighted that nearly 150 information boards with the messages “Say no to bear bile”; “Say no to Rhino horn”; and “Say no to wildlife products” have been placed in 78 Vietnamese government agencies all around Vietnam to raise awareness about the need to eliminate the wildlife trade amongst both government officials and members

Making the most of the good weather, ENV headed to the tourist location of Ao Vua to raise awareness about the issues with bear farming.    

On June 30, ENV and the local Forest Protection Department in Dak Nong, central Vietnam, have succeeded in persuading the head monk at a pagoda to voluntarily transfer a gibbon, which was being kept in captivity at the place of worship.
