Yesterday, one of our dedicated volunteers reported the unlawful captivity of a civet and squirrel in Da Nang province. Upon notification of the offense, ENV immediately contacted the Forest Protection Department to look into the case.
However, while the civet was confiscated by local protection officers, the squirrel was left with the offenders. On witnessing this, the volunteer immediately contacted ENV to express his concern for the squirrel. ENV is working hard to follow this case to support the rescue of the squirrel.
