A special national radio show for the Lunar New Year holiday has been developed as part of the regular collaboration between ENV and the Voice of Vietnam. The show, aired last week, encouraged the public to preserve our great tradition of peaceful holiday seasons, and discouraged the killing of wildlife, which sadly is becoming a new destructive tradition at this time of year.
ENV has partnered with the Voice of Vietnam, the national radio station, since 2005 to develop monthly radio shows on wildlife protection. Each show lasts thirteen minutes and focuses on different important aspects of the wildlife protection issues in Vietnam. Radio is a great way to reach traveling audiences and rural communities around the country in Vietnam, and many wildlife crimes have been reported to ENV as a result of our radio shows and advertisements.
