‘Say no to wildlife products’ banners hung in more than 30 markets nationwide

On the 26th and 27th of February, ENV succeeded in replacing rhino horn banners with new wildlife trade ones in over 20 markets in the three main cities in Vietnam (Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City), as well as cooperating with eight new markets in which to hang banners for the first time.

ENV’s banners always urge people to say ‘no’ to wildlife products, and encourage them to report wildlife crimes to the relevant authorities or the ENV hotline, but the designs are replaced by new ones every two months to ensure that our messages appear fresh and interesting in order to continue to attract the attention of the general public. Besides raising the public’s awareness and working to change their attitudes towards wildlife products, these banners are also an effective way to gain the commitment of the market management boards to prevent the trade of wildlife in their market.
