Wildlife conservation exhibits in tiger farming hotspot

Yen Thanh district, in Nghe An province, is a known hotspot for tiger farming in Vietnam, and is thus an ENV target for awareness raising activities; providing communities which are situated in hotspots with information about wildlife conservation is an important part of the solution to wildlife crime.

As part of this strategy, two wildlife exhibits in local markets, Phu Vinh and Vach Bac, were organized by local youth groups with support from ENV today. Visitors came to the event to learn about wildlife and the need for conservation, and in a promising gesture, many pledged to not consume wildlife products.
