After being arrested, the trafficker said that he had been hired by a man in Thanh Hoa province to sell the goods to a Chinese person. The skeletons have been confiscated and the investigation is ongoing.

International wildlife trade is no longer a new story. To avoid arrest, criminals often hire others to traffic illegal goods. This case once again highlights their tactics and the efforts of authorities to prevent smuggling.
