Local citizens voluntarily transfer two lorises

Last week, a monk called ENV’s hotline to report about a loris which by chance came into the temple in Khanh Hoa province. ENV immediately informed the local Forestry Protection Department who collected the animal and released it back into the forest. Check out the photo below which shows the loris enjoying its freedom in the wild.

Oct29-local citizens voluntarily transfer two lorises

In the same week, ENV worked with Lang Son Forestry Protection Department with another loris which was voluntarily transferred by a local citizen. The loris was relocated safe and sound to the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre (EPRC) at Cuc Phuong National Park on October 23rd.

It is great to see more and more local citizens volunteering to do the right thing by respecting and protecting wildlife.
