Two gibbons in Binh Phuoc province transferred to national park

Great news today about the two gibbons we wrote about earlier this month! The primates were discovered at a private health establishment in Binh Phuoc province in early August, where the owner was keeping them illegally but was unaware he had been breaking the law.

We worked with the Binh Phuoc Forest Protection Department to help ensure these amazing primates could be transferred to Bu Gia Map National Park. They are now in good health and undergoing rehabilitation.

It’s great to see these gibbons released from their cages and enjoying a safer and healthier existence in the trees of Bu Gia Map National Park.
