Since the last update in early July, 75 more rhinos have been killed for their horns, bringing the number of rhinos killed through illegal poaching to 536 since the start of this year alone.

Alarmingly, of the 536 rhinos killed, only 147 alleged poachers were successfully arrested. If this pattern continues, more than 900 rhinos will be killed by the end of 2013.
