The man confessed to having bought the wild cat for 1.5 million VND from an unfamiliar man in Son La, Northern Vietnam.

Police investigators searched the house in Son La on July 6 and arrested the man, who claimed he had originally bought the wild cat for 100.000 VND.

Police continue to expand their investigation.
