Report wildlife crime in Vietnam
Damming the mainstream of the Lower Mekong River in Laos represents a considerable new threat to the survival of the Mekong Giant Catfish, one of the world’s largest and rarestfreshwater fish.
These fish were once plentiful in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta, but there may now be less than 100 remaining. Threats to the survival of the species include over-fishing, pollution, and dam construction.
