Wildlife trafficking network from Cambodia to Vietnam exposed

Vietnamese news on dantri.com.vn reports that local police in Tay Ninh province uncovered a wildlife trafficking network from Cambodia to Vietnam. After analyzing intelligence, they believed that criminals were conducting a wildlife trafficking operation from within Tay Ninh. On October 29th, the authorities searched the suspicious places and confiscated 9 kilograms of turtles, 11 kilograms of common rat snakes and more than 25 kilograms of king cobras.

After being interrogated by the police, the traffickers admitted that they had received these hauls at the Cambodia-Vietnam border. The police investigation is ongoing
