Today we bring you more on what’s being done in Vietnam to spread the word about the international rhino crisis. Doan Hoang, one of the delegates on the recent trip to South Africa, is one of Vietnam’s best writers on environmental and wildlife issues. Since returning to Vietnam he has brought the power of the pen to help fight the rhino war through a series of chronicles in Lao Dong and other widely read newspapers.
His captivating, diary-style reporting has helped audiences to understand and empathize with the plight of world’s remaining rhinos. “I have never read such a lively and realistic article. Can’t wait to read the next chapter in his chronicle,” commented one reader.
Doan Hoang is also helping lead our new universities program, imparting his experiences in South Africa to Vietnamese students. His activities so far have been very well received and it’s great to have him on board.
