PSA – Make bear bile extraction a nightmare of the past

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Education for Nature – Vietnam (ENV) releases its latest Public Service Announcement (PSA) to address the brutal bear bile farming industry that has depleted Vietnam’s forests for many years. The bear owner in the film is like many bear owners in Vietnam, and his decision to release his bear to a sanctuary is no longer a rarity. In 2009, ENV recorded only 14 provinces in Vietnam which were free of captive bears. Since then, the number of bear free provinces has risen to 34! In 2019 alone, 23 bears were willingly released from captivity by their owners. However, this progress cannot let us forget the 432 still waiting for freedom in Vietnam.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row]
