Evidently our program has inspired them: at the end of the program, nearly 30 students registered to become ENV volunteers as part of the Wildlife Protection Clubs. Furthermore, our program also had a profound effect on the university management, who showed their dedication to wildlife protection by deciding to formally integrate the program into this year’s curriculum. ENV’s Wildlife Conservation program will be part of the first semester lectures about politics and national issues, which are compulsory for every student. Finally, in at least at one university, wildlife conservation has been highlighted as a national concern.
