Two green sea turtles were successfully rescued yesterday, as a result of information reported through ENV’s hotline.
On January 23rd, ENV received a call about two turtles which were being kept in a restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City, and immediately contacted the local Fisheries Quality Assurance and Aquatic Resources Protection Department, who checked the location and discovered that the animals in question were green sea turtles. Yesterday the pair were transferred to Cu Chi Wildlife Rescue Station before finally being released into the wild.
