Yesterday, ENV and local authorities co-hosted a bear farming management conference in Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province – one of Vietnam’s bear farming “hotspots”.
This is the first time all the district’s decision makers and authorities have gathered together to discuss local bear farming issues.
The meeting generated a positive response, with the district leader affirming his commitment to actively directing local authorities to focus more heavily on solving bear farming issues in the district.
