Today, ENV and a crew of local and international volunteers took part in ENV’s fourth ever wildlife blitz event. Together, 25 volunteers were divided into small groups to inspect restaurants, bars and other businesses to look for signs which advertised illegal wildlife products and examine menus for wildlife ‘specialities’, before returning to report back and discuss what we found.
By the end of the day, 88 establishments in Thanh Xuan district had been checked, in which 24 ones found having violations.
We want to say a huge ‘Thank You’ to all our volunteers, who are ENV’s eyes and ears for exposing wildlife crime. We couldn’t succeed without them.
