Last week, 114 members of iZi English club in Ho Chi Minh City had a fun weekend practicing English whilst learning about wildlife protection with a talk entitled “Score a goal for wildlife”.
The participants were enthusiastically encouraged to share their ideas about how to end the rampant wildlife trafficking and trade in Vietnam. In addition, participants were asked to quickly brainstorm and share their thoughts on a case study “What you would do if you were out for dinner with an important business partner who wanted to eat a dish containing wildlife products?”. The case study was an effective way to get everybody actively thinking about wildlife trade issues, and working together to find solutions to reduce the consumption of wild animals.
