Education for Nature Vietnam
ENV Strategic Programs
Education for Nature Vietnam (ENV) was established in 2000 as Vietnam’s first non-governmental organization focused on the conservation of nature and the environment. ENV works to protect the environment by tackling the biggest threat to biodiversity: the illegal wildlife trade. Our mission is to end the illegal wildlife trade in Vietnam which is devastating ecosystems around the world and pushing the earth closer and closer to the sixth mass extinction. ENV integrates three strategic departments to combat illegal wildlife trafficking in Vietnam:
Reduce consumer demand for wildlife and their products by educating the public through national Public Service Announcements, community engagement, and viral campaigns.
Respond to wildlife crime through operation of the Wildlife Crime Hotline, facilitating the confiscation and transfer of wild animals.
Collaborate with Vietnamese lawmakers to close loopholes in wildlife legislation and legal advocacy to prosecutors and judges to ensure wildlife criminals face the full extent of the law.
JOIN US TO PROTECT WILDLIFE
