ENV has been working hard in Da Nang City to spread the message of wildlife protection with a volunteer meeting and hanging awareness banners in five markets.
On May 31st, a meeting of the Wildlife Protection Volunteer Network in Da Nang was held and attracted many new members. For many it was the first time they learned about wildlife conservation. The young volunteers suggested new ideas to promote ENV’s Hotline to the public. They hope to learn about Asian elephants in their next meeting.
In May ENV also cooperated with five markets in Da Nang to hang banners with wildlife protection messages. This will help to deter wildlife trading and raise awareness to both sellers and buyers in the area.
